This site uses no cookies. It does not track you. It runs no analytics and no tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device. So there is no cookie banner and nothing to accept or decline.

• No cookies. The pages set none, so there is no cookie banner.
• No analytics. There is no visitor tracking or measurement software of any kind.
• No third-party scripts. Nothing on these pages is loaded from another company's servers.
• No accounts. There is no newsletter sign-up, comment box or login.

The pages load one small script, served from this site. It adds scroll effects. That means a progress bar, a gentle movement in the images and a marker for the current section of an essay. It stores nothing on your device and sends nothing anywhere. Every page works without it. It stays still if your device asks for reduced motion.

The typefaces, the stylesheet, the images and the icon are all served from this site. None come from a third party. Displaying a page does not send a request to any font service.

The contact form also appears on the hire page. If you submit it, the details you type are sent through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, to my email inbox. That means your name, email address, organisation and message. I use them only to reply to your enquiry.

Web3Forms handles the submission in transit, so its privacy policy applies to that step. If you do not submit the form, none of this happens.

If you would like me to delete a message you have sent, say so through the same form and I will.

Vercel hosts this site. Like other hosting companies, it keeps standard server logs of the requests it handles. Its privacy notice says it collects information about traffic to and from the websites it hosts. That includes a visitor's IP address, location information derived from that address and system configuration information.

If you subscribe to the RSS feed, your feed reader requests a file from the same hosting service. Those requests are logged in the same way as page visits.

The essays link to external sources. Other pages link to my profiles and projects on other services. Those sites have their own privacy practices. This page does not cover them.
