How essays are made
Essays are researched and drafted with AI assistance. I then review and edit every piece before it is published. Nothing goes live without that review. I am responsible for everything that appears under my name.
Sourcing
Every factual claim links to a source. Each essay ends with a list of the sources it used. I prefer primary sources. That means official documentation, standards bodies and regulators. If I cannot support a claim with a source I have actually read, I cut it.
One essay works differently. The essay on prompt wording reports numbers from LLM Scout, which I founded. That data has not been published. So its figures cannot be traced to an outside source. The essay says so before anything else.
Opinion is welcome here but it is labelled. If a paragraph gives my view instead of a documented fact, the text says so.
You will not find invented statistics, quotations, client stories, case studies, test results or testimonials on this site. It also carries no advertising, sponsored posts or affiliate links.
Dates
Each essay shows the date it was first published and the date it was last updated. Documentation in this field changes often, so the essays describe what the sources said on the date shown.
Corrections
If an essay contains an error of fact, I correct it. I also add a dated correction note to the essay itself that says what was changed. The last updated date changes at the same time. Edits that only fix spelling or formatting are not noted.
To report an error, use the contact form. Include the address of the essay. If you can, include the source that shows the mistake too.
Conflicts of interest
I have commercial interests in the field I write about. Please weigh what I write with that in mind.
- I work commercially in search marketing, including SEO and AI optimisation.
- I founded LLM Scout. It is a platform that tracks and helps improve how brands appear in answers from AI models.
- This site also promotes my own consulting work (AI visibility audits, implementation and training). The hire page describes it.
Any essay that touches on AI visibility tools carries a disclosure of the LLM Scout interest at the top of the page. The essays are not written to promote either business. Neither is recommended in them.
Other sites I own
I also own the following sites. Each covers a different subject.
- frankvitetta.co (artificial intelligence)
- frankvitetta.org (UK technology)
- frankvitetta.net (big data)
